I am looking for PEOPLE WHO ARE LOOKING! Is that YOU???
Amazing...we are just days away from the start of another new year! Time to re-evaluate what you did and did not do to improve yourself and your life this past year. It all starts, continues, and finishes with one variable: YOU. Your actions, decisions, thoughts are choices you make hundreds of times a day. What did your choices this past year say about your actions, your thoughts, and your decisions? Are you happy with where you are right now??? All those choices added up to today. If you answered that you are not happy with where you are, then it is time you get serious about changing those actions, decisions and thoughts that did not serve to get you where you wanted to be.
Picture your life 10 years from now....
Where do you see yourself?
Think back 10 years ago.....
Are you where you thought you would be today?
IF NOTHING CHANGES,
THEN NOTHING CHANGES.
I am looking for people who are looking. People who are serious about changing their financial picture and are not afraid of new doorways to make those changes happen. Are you one of those people? I am building a Team of focused, like-minded individuals who are done with existing and barely getting by, who want to have a LIFESTYLE instead of just a "life", and who are willing do what it takes to create that for themselves and their loved ones. If that resonates with you, email me at ceegomes@gmail.com. Only those serious about making changes should contact me. Do it now! Because your future will be your past before you know it.

Dr. Bob Arnot explains Omega 3 - Omega 6 Ratios....
Dr. Bob Article: June
Most of us know that we eat too many fats, sugars and junk carbohydrates, but how many of us know that we smother ourselves with omega-6 fats? These have an immediate and devastating effect on how we feel and how we perform. Why? Start with the nerve cells in our brain. Their lining is made out of fat. The body has a choice in making these linings; omega-6 fats or omega-3 fats. It will choose whichever you’ve eaten in the greatest quantity. Fascinating new research from Harvard focuses on how much better nerve cells work with omega-3 fatty acids. Nerve impulses are conducted far more effectively because the nerves are “slippery”. These nerve cells may also produce more neurotransmitters that make us feel good. This isn’t just theory, either. Study after study shows how well omega-3s work to make us feel better and are even used with depressed patients and those with bipolar illness. One key new avenue of research is depression prevention. Diet and omega-3s are a key part.
And it isn’t just the brain. In my #1 best seller, the Breast Cancer Prevention Diet, I explained how a breast duct cell becomes angry and hyper-responsive to estrogens if its lining is made of omega-6 fatty acids. Since estrogen can spur the growth of tumors, women at risk may want to limit their omega-6 content. The cell is far calmer and less responsive to estrogen with omega-3s in research done at UCLA. Excessive omega-6s also promote:
Cardiovascular disease
Cancer
Inflammation
Autoimmune diseases
Depression
The predominant way that omega-6s and omega-3s are expressed is through a ratio. As hunter gatherers, our ratio was pretty close to 1:1 However in the modern junk food diet, it might reach 40:1; that is 40 omega-6s to 1 omega-3. Ouch! No wonder we feel awful. The goal to shoot for is 3:1 which is considered close to ideal. Here are some other ratios and their effect on disease:
Heart disease: 70% decrease deaths with a ratio of 4:1 …after first heart attack
Breast Cancer: Lower risk with lower ratio… in women with breast cancer
Rheumatoid Arthritis: ratio of 2:1 suppressed inflammation
Asthma: 5:1 had a beneficial effect. Ratio of 10:1 had adverse consequences.
Colorectal cancer: A ratio of 2.5:1 reduced rectal cell proliferation
One reason that your clients, friends and relatives may take a scoop of Mila and have an OMG moment is that Mila so quickly and effectively gets omega-3s into your system and reverses the ratio. Other friends and clients may not. Why? They have completely doused their bodies with overwhelming amounts of omega-6 fatty acids and would need to cut back to feel the effect.
Let’s look at some practical examples. Below in the chart, you’ll see a day’s worth of omega-3s in an Aztec-Mila diet versus the omega-6s in a typical Western diet. As you’ll observe, just a tablespoon each of safflower, corn, peanut and soybean oil gives you an omega dose of nearly 28,000 mg! You could easily consume that in cooking, salad dressings and grilling a sandwich. If you look at the Aztec diet, only Mila can really reverse the course. Four scoops a day would give you nearly 20,000 mg of omega-3s. As you can see, the smartest move is to stop using vegetable oils and start taking a lot more Mila. This would have a stunning effect on your ratio, how you feel, and the level of inflammation in your body.
Aztec --- Omega-3 --- Western --- Omega-6
Mila --- 4915 --- Safflower oil --- 10073
Squash --- 189 --- Corn oil --- 7224
Pinto beans --- 185 --- Soybean oil --- 6807
Black beans --- 181 --- Peanut oil --- 4321
Taro --- 33 --- Cashews --- 2179
Guava --- 14 --- Tortilla --- 1553
Onions --- 6.4 --- Pancakes --- 1487
Green --- 5.4 --- Margarine --- 1111
Total --- 5528 --- Total --- 34755
So why not just take chia? Glad you asked! Whole chia delivers no omega-3s to the body or the brain? That’s right. New research shows that after consuming whole chia, virtually no ALA gets into the blood, nor is there any conversion to omega-3 called EPA. What has been clinically proven to work is Mila, which is the highest quality in the world, with a size and shape precisely milled for the greatest bioactivity.
So what do I do? I try to max out my ratio and get as close to 1:1 as possible. I take four scoops of Mila a day and avoid vegetable oils like the plague. The only exception is olive oil. One or two teaspoons on salads is a great addition. This is an omega-9 which is a healthy fat. I really feel the difference. On a recent airline flight, the only choice was a grilled sandwich. It was doused in omega-6 vegetable oils. I felt dreadful for the whole evening. Only a Mila smoothie brought me back.
Omega-3 research is at the cutting edge of disease prevention and remarkable good health. I make omega-3s a priority every day and feel terrific because of it. I like Mila in particular because it exerts a natural brake on how much gets into the brain. Mila allows you to rapidly and effectively increase the omega-3s throughout your body as ALA to affect inflammation. Some of the ALA is converted to EPA and DHA. With four scoops a day of Mila, this results in a decent amount of EPA and DHA, important for the brain and heart. Feel the best you ever have and bring your omega-6 to omega-3 ratio back to where it belongs!

DR. BOB ARNOT tells all on Weight Loss & Enhanced Fitness Training
Dr. Bob Arnot is known and respected around the world and is the Chief Wellness Advisor for Lifemax. (See his picture below right.) Thought you would enjoy tips from his healthy lifestyle regimen! Cee
Dr. Bob Article: April, April 30, 2011
“Geez Bob, you look GREAT. What are you doing?”
“Mila®,” I answer.
“Send me some?”
“You bet!!!”
Poor Melinda, Sherri and Jimbo are overloaded with requests from my friends and fans for the world’s best whole food. After trying MILA and starting to lose weight, I can get calls and emails about specific strategies. There are lots, like Global Director Rachel Garcia’s amazing Mila Smoothie and Executive Director Dr. Mark Luckie’s incredible weight loss program. It’s been an honor to work with these amazingly enthusiastic health care practitioners and I’m incredibly grateful to see the results and hear from grateful clients.
Today I wanted to share with you a strategy I’ve been using this year that I find staggeringly successful on two fronts: weight loss and enhanced fitness training.
Here’s what I do. Each afternoon between four and six PM I do my daily workout. This is the best possible time since all the body’s hormones are perfectly aligned. Body temperature is up so that your muscles produce more energy and are less prone to injury.
As I start my workout, I take a sports drink, like Gatorade® G-2 or PureSport™ but any quality sports drink will work. I’ll put two scoops of MILA in the bottle with the sports drink and shake it. You’ll find that it nearly dissolves right away. I sip it over the course of my workout, shaking it before each sip. Here’s what it does... First of all the sugar from the sports drink helps me get a better workout. During exercise, sucrose, maltodextrin and other performance sugars go to your muscle as fuel. You won’t spike your blood sugar nor will you need to worry about weight gain. This is because your body’s hormones aligned differently during a workout. What does the MILA do? MILA gives me a much better workout. I don’t “bonk” anymore with a sudden drop in blood sugar. I also go faster further. A recent study showed that cyclists were a full minute faster in the closing stage of a long competitive ride than those without MILA. Why does MILA help? The biggest part may be that the Omega-3 fatty acids work as an additional fuel. I use MILA for 100-mile bike events every weekend and have quite simply never rode harder or faster in my whole life. No bonking. Steady energy.
No time for a work out? Work while you’re working out! I get on a treadmill when I’m too busy to bike or travelling. I set it at 15% and take a good stiff hike. No need to run. All the big muscle groups are activated. I also love the Cybex Arc trainer. I put my iPad on the ledge on either machine and read all my Lifemax emails, read the papers, scientific journals, write emails, read important magazines and keep up on Logan, Sherri and Jimbo’s amazing life. But here comes the best part of all. After my workout, my hunger is gone. I have no need to eat nor do I want to. I go to bed comfortably lean and wake up each morning up to a pound lighter, if I want to. I’m also really hungry so I’ll make terrific food choices like steel cut oatmeal, egg white frittatas or omelets, fruits and veggies. As Dr. Mark Luckie points out, I’ll have a terrific lunch with lean chicken or fish and some veggies. That revs up my metabolism and gives me the energy for my afternoon workout. The MILA aid gives me the confidence, energy and endurance to have a terrific and long workout. This gives me the energy for an amazing workout.
A lot of why we eat is that we crave energy. This program gives us all the energy we need and specifically WHEN we need it…for our workday and work out. Skip that evening meal 5 days a week and you’ll become the leanest and fittest ever. You’ll sleep like a baby. If you’re one of those people who workout every day but are still 20-50 pounds overweight, this program will feel like you popped a balloon as you slice off the fat. Try it. It’s amazing. Most diets fail because we just can’t stop eating at night. I find with this later afternoon MILA-Aid drink and workout, I’m just not hungry . The MILA swells in my stomach, killing my hunger. I’ll go to sleep slightly hungry and wake up with a terrific appetite. Try it. The next time someone says…geeeeez, you look GREAT. Wink and say…MILA!
Thanks so much for joining me for my once-a-month Lifemax Blog. It is such a privilege to know so many of you and hear from you all month long.

CELLS - Our Body's Building Blocks....
Do you take your cells for granted? It's time they got a little attention. After all, they are the building blocks of our bodies. What are you feeding yours to keep them strong and stable? If you are not giving them the Omega 3's and nutrients they need every day, your building blocks will not be able to perform at their best. Read on to see what these tiny power-houses do for you every moment of every day....
"The most important part of our body, the cells, are surrounded by a plasma cell membrane. This membrane is composed mainly of fatty acids. The cellular membrane has a vital role in the cell's life, as it allows nutrients into the cell itself. In the same manner, it allows the quick removal of cell waste products. To perform these functions optimally, however, the cell membrane must maintain its integrity and fluidity. Cells without a healthy membrane lose their ability to hold water and vital nutrients. They also lose their ability to communicate with other cells. Researchers believe that loss of cell to cell communication is one of the physiological events that leads to growth of cancerous tumors. Because cell membranes are made up of fat, the integrity and fluidity of our cell membranes is determined in large part by the type of fat we eat. Remember that saturated fats are solid at room temperature, while Omega-3 fats are liquid at room temperature. Researchers believe that diets containing large amounts of saturated or hydrogenated fats produce cell membranes that are hard and lack fluidity. On the other hand, diets rich in Omega-3 fats produce cell membranes with a high degree of fluidity."
As the "keeper" of your building blocks, you are responsible for how well your cells function. One simple scoop of MILA a day provides the highest levels of Omega 3's along with a whole host of other nutrients needed by your cells to keep your body strong and healthy.
Easy to do? Yes! Easy not to do? Yes again!
And we go about our days taking our bodies and cells for granted, until something gives, and only then do we pay attention.
Make a decision now - in this very moment - that you will be proactive with your health. Get your scoop a day, every day. MILA. Simple, powerful food to keep your cells operating at their best.
