We all make them and we all break them. New Year's usually marks a time of "promise". We look forward to wiping the slate clean and starting fresh. And we make alot of promises to ourselves: to lose weight, to get out of debt, to start that project - or finish one. All in all, we want things to be better in our lives in 2011 than they were in 2010.
What resolutions are you already thinking about? Are they the same as last year, and the year before, and the year before that? Bottom line, if you don't change what you did in previous years, this new year will produce pretty much the same results for you as in past years. If you aren't happy with your past results, you need to make some new decisions, and that means changing your patterns.
There is a rule of thumb that says it takes 21 days to replace an old pattern or habit with a new one. Can you consistently change your ways for 21 days? It takes thought, discipline. It takes a conscious decision to continually step out of what you are comfortable with and used to and venture into new arenas. Most people begin with right intentions, but fall away when they realize the new patterns don't feel comfortable, and they take effort and work, so that gym membership goes unused, the project stays unfinished and the spending resumes.
You need to arm yourself with the tools that will help you succeed. You may need to change your associations to be with people who are moving forward instead of your so-called "friends" who tend to hold you back. What I call "dashboard university" needs to become your new "friend" - constantly play CD's that are geared for success and self-improvement as you drive throughout your day. Pick up reading materials that will uplift you and point you in new directions. Always "feed" yourself well: mentally, spiritually, emotionally and physically. It is YOUR choice what you allow into your "temple". Always "feed" it well so well-ness is what you will get out of it.
Mila is what "feeds" my body. Because of the amazing nutrition in one "scoop" a day, I feel strong, focused, energized and balanced. I am able to put new patterns in my life that feed my mind, heart and soul. We all need Omega 3's and our bodies do not make them. You would have to eat a whole lot of fresh fish to get the Omega 3's your body needs to replenish itself at the cellular level every day. And a fish oil supplement?? No thanks - our bodies were designed to recognize plant-based foods, not processed foods and supplements, and Mila is an all natural plant based food. As a matter of fact, it is the healthiest food known. Look around. How many truly healthy people do you see on a daily basis? The processed diet that we consume every day is degenerating our systems and killing us!
So the "SCOOP" on New Year's Resolutions is this: Get Mila in your system every day. You will notice the differences. And get information on just what an amazing opportunity Lifemax offers to change your income. Health and Wealth in a "Scoop" a day. If you make no other changes, make this one. Dr. Bob Arnot & the Mila Revolution
There are many reasons that I titled my last post "It's An Inside Job". To fully understand the numerous benefits of Mila, you have to consume it for yourself. For the questioning and curious, click on the title of this post and read the article written by world-renowned Dr. Bob Arnot. This was published in the August 2010 quarterly edition of The Diplomatic Connection Magazine. Concise and to the point, Dr. Arnot talks about Mila and how it helps your body thrive! Enjoy the article and here's to you and your "Healthy Balanced Living"!

It's An "Inside Job"
Optimal health begins on the inside. Physically, emotionally, spiritually - you need to be in balance internally in order to have your world benefit externally. Your inside work begins first with your physical health. In order for your body to function optimally, it needs to be in peak condition.
As you physically feel better, you will have the energy and clarity necessary to sort through emotions. Keep those that are an enhancement to your life. Shelve those that are not. Choose to decide - decide to choose.
Now you can be more open to receiving all the spiritual guidance and blessings available to you from this abundant and giving universe. Fill your vessel - your body, mind, heart, soul - with only those choices that are healthy and beneficial. This includes whom you associate with, what you read, watch and listen to. "As you sow, so shall ye reap."
Now share the best of who you are with your world. As your "best" is shared, you will in turn bring out the "best" in others. Temper your day with "checkpoints of balance" throughout. Breathe. Pause. Listen to silence. Begin today to pay attention to what you pay attention to. Remain aware. Be an "optimal-focused" receiver so you can be an "optimal" giver.
I believe we all seek to discover our purposes and define who we are. One of my personal self-definitions is "giver". Through this site, I will strive to share with you information that I have found helpful in achieving balance, purpose and happiness in my life, and my hopes are that you will achieve the same in yours. Here's to Healthy, Balanced Living!
